Claire and Keith’s Kirknewton House Stables wedding was stand out because of the details – a pianist accompanied Claire and her mum down the aisle, the wonderful the grounds of the venue had lawn games and all the little DIY handmade decorations. Kirknewton House Stables provides a unique and romantically secluded wedding venue just outside of Edinburgh but it felt a million miles removed from any city. Kirknewton House is just 25 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. Yet, the beautifully restored Stables provide complete privacy and individuality for your wedding or event.
Jen and I filmed the girls preparing at Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry and that proved an excellent venue for shooting some lovely footage. Claire & Keith made their humanist wedding all the more special with a few touches on the day – the newly-weds were Champagne Showered and played croquet on the lawn.
