This Old Course Hotel wedding video represents one of two filmed we’ve produced in St Andrews as wedding videographers. Ryanne & Robin chose to marry at Cardross Parish Church on August 23rd 2013 and held their wedding reception at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews. Logistically this was perhaps the most bizarre wedding video of the year with a two and a half hour journey between the venues, but they made it work because Ryanne’s parents were married at Cardross.
Ryanne came to us as she works alongside Natalie (of Natalie & Kenny)- whose wedding we filmed last year at the Mansfield Traquir. Ryanne had asked us to be discreet for Robin’s benefit and so we did our utmost to be unobtrusive. Typically with a Platinum package we would film both the bride and groom’s preparations, however in this case we we not. We chose instead to film guest at the church, including Ryanne’s papa who is a spectacular 102 years old.
Ryanne arrived in stye and the ceremony was conducted by minister David Munro. Arriving at the Old Course Hotel in the heart of St Andrews, Ryanne & Robin walked down the Hall of Heros and piped through the guests to arrive at the top table. After dinner the fist dance was set to Fleetwood Mac ‘I wanna be with you everywhere’.
