20 Sep The George Hotel wedding film – Julie and Matt
Having filmed Julie and Matt’s The George Hotel wedding film I thought it was worth taking to time to note how hospitable the staff were. While you expect service to be excellent when you book a venue for your wedding, often with the hectic nature of the day it can be people out with earshot of the top table are neglected at the expense of the catering for the bride and groom. It was the little things with the service that impressed me the most.
During the rooftop photoshoot a very accommodating member of staff actually asked if she could get me anything. I know if sounds strange to be bowled over by so good, simple courteous but the photographer and I typically always so so well cared for. Working well with other wedding service providers on the day can make a big difference to the quality of everything from photos and music to flower arrangements. The Kings Hall with a capacity for 270 people was a beautiful setting for both the ceremony and dinner. While a touch dark for cameras, it’s domed roof and contemporary ceiling feature were and attractive centerpiece for the grade 2 listed building.
The photographer on the day was Peter Reehal of Keystone Photography who very a lovely chap, fast and professional and in spite of the weather I’m sure there will be some gorgeous shots.
