Our Enterkine House wedding video with Heather and John was filmed on Friday 23rd March 2012. A very fitting location since it was back in 2003 at a party in a marquee in John’s back garden that they finally got together after years of pursuit from John.
John is both a big softie but with a magical glint in his eyes while Heather is the charming and supportive ying to his yang, always there sharing the laughs. I really loved spending time with them both, and their compatibility is unmistakable. If the most important thing is laughter, then you’ve got it in spades, and I’m sure they’ll be a lifetime of laughs ahead!
The Humanist ceremony was conducted by Leslie Mitchell, with readings and live music from friends. At the reception, Alan’s best man speech was without doubt one of the most unrestrained and hilarious speeches I’ve certainly heard, and when I said to John after ”you didn’t get off lightly” he said quick-as-a bolt actually I didn’t. John, you are a man who has certainly had some adventures!
Heather and John certainly like to have a good party and in amongst it we found time to join them for a late night photoshoot – a first for us – with the assistance of Mark’s car headlights.
